Part 1 of 4
Read this first
This is a cleaning list. It is not advice about your security deposit, your lease, or Pennsylvania landlord-tenant law. Those questions belong with your lease and, if you need it, a lawyer or a local tenant service. We clean homes. We do not decide what a landlord may withhold.
What we can tell you is how an empty home is cleaned, and how that lines up with the Move-Out Clean in our quote. We work in Delaware County, Montgomery County, and Chester County. The same two owners do the work.
If you are the person moving in, not the person leaving, the clean is the same service level. There is no separate move-in price. Book the Move-Out Clean before the boxes arrive. The move-in page explains that.
Part 2 of 4
Empty the home first
A Move-Out Clean is for an empty, unfurnished home. It includes everything in a Deep Clean, then the extra work that only makes sense once the furniture is gone: wiped cabinet and drawer fronts, the inside of empty closets and storage, and a broom-clean, move-ready finish.
If you still live in the home, book a Deep Clean instead. The move-out level assumes we can reach closet floors, the backs of doors, and the edges where a sofa used to be. A house full of boxes is harder than a house that is actually empty, and the price you built for an empty home will not match a home we cannot walk through.
Take the food out of the refrigerator if you want the inside cleaned. Take everything out of the cabinets if you want the inside of the cabinets cleaned. We do not unpack, and we do not throw away things you meant to keep. Bag leftovers, open bottles, and the last of the pantry before the day.
Leave the oven and the refrigerator in place. Those stay with the home. Pull the refrigerator out only if you are comfortable doing that yourself and the floor under it is something you want cleaned. Say so in the notes. We will not disconnect an appliance.
Remove wall hooks, command strips, and nails you are allowed to remove. We wipe the spot. We do not patch paint. Patching, carpet stretching, and drywall repair are not part of a clean.
Part 3 of 4
Room by room
Kitchen
Counters, cooktop surface, sink, and the outside of the appliances and cabinet fronts are part of the deep work inside a move-out. The inside of the oven, the inside of the refrigerator, the dishwasher, the microwave, and the inside of the kitchen cabinets are add-ons. If your lease talks about "appliances," read it yourself and then tick the add-ons that match. We will not guess what your lease requires.
Bathrooms
Toilets, tubs, showers, sinks, and fixtures are cleaned top to bottom. Inside the bathroom cabinets is an add-on. Cabinet and drawer fronts are wiped as part of the move-out level. Take bottles and medicine with you so we are not cleaning around a move.
Bedrooms and living areas
Once the furniture is out, we clean the open floor, the base of the walls we can reach, doors, trim, switch plates, vents, sills, and corners. Baseboards throughout the home are an add-on. If the landlord is particular about baseboards, add them. They are a visible line in an empty room.
Closets
The inside of empty closets is part of the Move-Out Clean. A closet that still has clothes in it is not empty, and we will wipe what we can reach and leave the rest.
Floors
Hard floors are part of the visit. Carpets and rugs are priced by the item and are not in the base price. Add the size in the quote if you want a carpet or a rug cleaned.
Windows
Priced by the window. Add the windows you want done.
Trash
Walk the house with a bag at the end of packing. Check under the sinks and in the refrigerator door. Hauling away leftover furniture or renovation debris is not part of a clean.
Part 4 of 4
How to book it
Use the instant quote and choose Move-Out Clean. Count bedrooms and bathrooms the way the home is built, not the way you used the rooms. A den with a closet is still a room you should describe honestly in the notes if you are unsure whether it counts as a bedroom.
Add the appliance and cabinet interiors you want. The quote updates as you add them. There is a $125 job minimum. A very small apartment can land on that minimum at a lighter service level. A move-out of a house usually sits above it. The quote, not this page, is the price.
Pick a day after the truck and before the keys go back, with enough time that you can walk through. If something was not done right, tell us within 48 hours and we will re-clean the affected area at no additional charge. That window is in our terms. It is not a promise about your deposit.
There is a one-page version of this list you can print and tick off while you pack. It has no email gate. The printable checklist is the same cleaning tasks, on one sheet.
